Why some feel privileged to spend your time?

Sitting in a wonderful place, sipping my Negroni and reading my emails. It’s funny how some people think that if they ask the same question a second time, they’ll get a different answer. I know some do - maybe this practice works in more than 50% of cases. But not with me. I even consider it insulting. It wastes my time. Why do those people think I should spend 100% more time answering the same question twice.

Why do those people think my time given to them should be more important than the time I can give to my family, friends, or my Negroni, eventually?

To me, it is such a disrespect. But I am sure this approach works on many other occasions and with many other people. Probably with people who rush to give answers, who are not confident about their answers, or maybe with those who frequently change their opinions or decisions. Not with me.

I diligently evaluate all the pros and cons before I answer a question. I condense the message into the most important, decisive words and sentences. Those words are the final result of all the risk mitigation measures I could take. But most importantly, those words answer the question. I do that so I do not have to answer the same question twice.

So, I do not waste my time. Why someone else should waste it?
